Jailbreak Your iPhone Get Banned From The App Store?

According to a recent report from Redmond Pie Apple has begun banning or disabling Apple ID's of some "jailbroken" iPhones essentially blocking or banning them from the App Store.

Citing “security reasons” Apple has banned the accounts of two well know iPhone hackers Sherif Hashim, and "iH8sn0w". Hashim is the iPhone developer and hacker who recently found an exploit in the latest iPhone OS 3.1.3, which could enable the unlock on 05.12.01 baseband for iPhone 3GS and 3G devices while  iH8sn0w who is behind Sn0wbreeze – the PwnageTool.

Both hackers posted confirmation via their Twitter accounts (@sherif_hashim & @iH8sn0w).

So far this doesn't look like a widespread banning of accounts, rather a targeted banning of two rather heavy hitters in the jailbreaking community. However this doesn't mean that its not a sign of more things to come. This might be Apple vamping up a mass blockage of Apple ID's before the iPad hits the streets.
