Google Is Now Accepting Student Applications For 2009 OpenUsability Season Of Usability

Students interested in working on an open source projects are now invited to apply for Google's 2009 OpenUsability Season of Usability.

The OpenUsability Season of Usability which was inspired by Google Summer of Code, where Google offers offers student developers stipends to write code for various open source software projects, will be supporting 10 students to work on 10 open source projects during the June 1 - August 31 2009 season. The 10 students selected to work on one of the following projects will be given a $1000 USD internship stipend for their work at the end of the project

The projects available are:
OpenUsability is an initiative that promotes usability in Free/Libre/Open-Source Software (FLOSS) development. Today, OpenUsability is a group of people who share the same mindset of an "Open Usability": Make usability transparent, share methods and best practices, and support open source software.
